The Goddess Brighid is patron to newborns. Unfortunately, some newborns need a little extra love and care, and so do their families - and that's where we come in. Applications are open to any family with a hospitalized infant (whether due to prematurity or illness); however, we design our care packages with Pagan spirituality in mind, so we would like to primarily encourage Pagan families to apply for the package.

TO APPLY:

Please send an email to brighidsarms@paganparenting.org if you are a family member, friend, or coven mate of an individual who would benefit from a care package. (You can also apply for yourself, of course.) Please send us the name of the child and the parents, a short overview of the medical circumstances of the child, your relationship to the family, and contact information including a postal address. You may also choose to include any pertinent information about the family's spiritual path.

DONATIONS:

To donate funds to help defray mailing costs, please use the donate button on the top right of the page. Please include a note requesting that the funds be directed to Operation Brighid's Arms.

If you would like to donate items instead, please consider the following:

- Hand-crafted items (such as baby blankets, hats, etc.)
- Small teddy bears
- Small statuary or devotional items
- Relaxation or meditation CD's
- Pentacles, charms, or medallions (child sized or adult sized)
- Devotional books or magazines
- Prayer or meditation beads
- Gift cards for fast-food or take-away chains
- Crystals or herbal sachets
