Pagan Childcare
Pagan Parenting has not met each provider individually. We know no more about them than they have portrayed through their Internet presence. Please use common sense and all the safety measures you normally would when meeting strangers off the Internet.

Whittier - Babysitting
Are you a Pagan family looking for a trust worthy Pagan babysitter? Well, you found one! I'm Cara and a Pagan Mom, so I know how hard it is to find someone dependable with common beliefs and flexible hours. I live in the Whittier area and I work all day shifts and / or after school (8am - 5pm) . Late night and weekends also available. I work from my home, so it is safe and secure for your little ones. Some of the activities I will do with your child are Reading time, Arts and Crafts, and Trips to the park (I live down the street from beautiful Michigan Park!) And during our Sabats, a Sabat based teaching geared toward the little one (with your permission of course). I have 10 years experience with excellent references! $8-$12 an hour.

Delmar - Morning Dove Babysitting
I'm an experienced mom to two boys and I'd love to watch your kids! I charge $7 an hour or I am willing to trade for babysitting my kids, if you aren't too far way! I do have pets, a dog and two cats, and a few chickens in the back yard! Depending on the situation, I can watch kids at my home or yours. Drop me an email to check on availability!

Haddonfield - Morning Dove Babysitting
A 28 year old married, pagan mother is willing to watch your children at any hours in a safe, loving environment. She has a clean home and children of her own, including one autistic daughter, so she is good with autistic children. Rates are flexible.

Gladstone - Hawthorn Circle
My name is Tina and I have been running my own home based daycare facility since 1989. I have had my daycare in many different States and have even run my daycare on a few military installations over the years. Before having a daycare, I did many hours of baby-sitting. I now run my daycare more like a preschool as I also home educate my 4 children and find it works best to include all the children in educational activities as the older children get less distracted and enjoy working with the younger kids. The younger ones enjoy feeling big and going to school. We still have lots of free play to help develop many skills that are important to young children.
Klamath Falls - Ragamuffin Family Daycare
As a working parent, you face the difficult challenge of balancing the demands of work with the needs of your family. Finding high quality childcare is one of the most difficult tasks you will encounter. Your child needs a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment, which can balance structured as well as unstructured playtime. My daycare strives to give children the opportunity to learn not only through play but also by exploring topics not normally introduced to children at such a young age; composting, recycling, sign language, and Spanish. I also teach the children social skills, street smarts, and appreciation for their neighborhood and environment. For children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Three full meals, two snacks included, organic food available. Will assist with potty training. Indoor and outdoor areas. Many nature crafts. Fully licensed, First Aid and CPR Certified, Food Handler's License, college backgrounds in ECE, excellent references.
Springfield - Daycare
I'm in the process of taking over my family day care in Springfield, and moving things toward a more earth-based curriculum. The day care itself has been in operation and in the family for more than 50 years. As the helm is being passed on to me, I feel a responsibility to create and environment that not only continues the tradition of learning and fun, but move toward being certified as a "Green Day Care" and put more of an emphasis on natural living, respect for the earth, and observation of the Wheel of the Year. I am also working toward converting to a vegetarian menu, although any special diets will, of course, be honored. We are licensed to accept children between the ages of 12 months and 10 years old and are open from 7am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Breakfast, lunch, and 3 healthy snacks will be provided, as well as plenty of opportunities to learn, play, and grow in a safe and loving environment. In addition to working at the day care, I spent 4 1/2 years as a private nanny, and 2 years as a Gymboree Play Teacher. I hold a BS in child and adolescent studies with a minor in psychology, and am certified in early childhood education. Rates will vary depending on age of the child and whether you require part-time or full-time enrollment.
