Family-Friendly Pagan Gatherings & Festivals
EVERYWHERE
- Pagan Pride Days are held throughout the country (and the world). The mission of the Pagan Pride Project is to foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and community. They are held in the autumn and offer the chance to network with other pagans and get good press out to about the faith. Festivals differ from location to location, but they all have certain things in common: a food drive, media coverage, and a public ritual.

Florida
Camp Ocala - Florida Pagan Gathering
Held on Beltane and Samhain. For many years, the Church of Iron Oak, ATC has sponsored the Florida Pagan Gathering. First it was called the Freedom Fest and was held at a small resort on the East Coast of Florida. Then, the battle was over, the dust settled and the lawyers put away their briefs but the festivals continued. We changed the name to the Florida Pagan Gathering when we moved it to a place that could accommodate more people. Over the next two years, the festival grew to more than 300 people! It became a wonderful chance to bring together the Pagan community as well as attract popular authors to Florida, many for the first time.

Near Salem - Pagan Spirit Gathering
The Pagan Spirit Gathering (PSG) is one of America's oldest and largest Nature Spirituality festivals. Since its inception in 1980, PSG has been bringing together hundreds of people from throughout the United States, plus other countries, to create community, celebrate Summer Solstice, and commune with Nature in a sacred environment. Sponsored by Circle Sanctuary, PSG is open to long-time practitioners as well as newcomers to paths of Wicca, Paganism, Shamanism, Celtic traditions, Native American ways, Ecofeminism, Animism, Nature Mysticism, Pantheism, and related forms of Ecospirituality. PSG is an opportunity for personal renewal, networking, education, and cultural enrichment. As in past years, PSG's spiritual community begins emerging as participants arrive on opening day, set up camp, meet and greet others, and create a Pagan Town together which will last the entire week of the Gathering. The Sacred Fire is lit during the Opening Ritual and is kept burning throughout the Gathering to symbolize the Solstice Sun and Spirit of the PSG community. Join us for PSG 2010 to celebrate Summer Solstice, Pagan Paths, and the 30th Anniversary of PSG!
New York
Sherman - Starwood
The Starwood Festival is the largest Pagan/Magickal/Consciousness gathering in North America (perhaps the world). Starwood features classes and workshops by both locally and internationally acclaimed artists and authors. It is known for its eclectic nature and the diversity of its offerings. For fine music, dance, drumming, poetry, and film there is no equal to Starwood. Starwood is held every year since 1980 near the third weekend of July. Starwood is run by the Chameleon Club and by the Association for Consciousness Exploration (ACE). Children of all ages are welcome, but those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents (or Legal guardians) are responsible for their children at all times. We facilitate a fairly comprehensive kids & children's program and ask that you participate actively in it. We strive to provide a safe and stimulating environment but need your help to do so.

Blue River - Earthhouse: Mother of the Land
The Earth House Project of Minnesota holds its annual summer festival in late June. There, all of us can come together within a short distance of the Twin Cities to celebrate the Midsummer, have fun, attend workshops, and participate in rituals. This allows the Pagan Community to take part in a cooperative venture while celebrating our similarities and our diversity within the community at large. We are very family friendly and have activities and workshops for kids based on how many children and what ages we have at the festival. There are cabins available to rent, there is electricity and water at every site, a bath house with flush toilets and hot showers 24/7; and we have the camp divided into night people and early risers.

Plympton-Wyoming, ONT - Spirits of the Earth Festival
Held in July, about 45 minutes west of London, Ontario. We are a group of earth centered individuals who come together to study the elements and the endless cycle of life. Spirits of the Earth is a gathering focusing on conservation, preservation, and creating a deeper relationship to divinity. Our goal is to bring like-minded individuals together to form a sense of community. We welcome all who are of earth-based spirituality and other open-minded individuals to join us in a sacred space where communication of life, love and spirituality is available without fear or prejudice. We form a network to share knowledge of our ways with others. The campground is situated on over 100 acres of old farm land that is surrounded by a trickling stream, lush greenery, clean air, and nightly bonfires. There are many paths to take for herb walks, and many camping areas. Children are more then welcome to attend Spirits of the Earth Festival, however the children that accompany you are your responsibility; no childcare is available.
