Christina Aubin's article on Education and the Pagan Child is a great introduction to the pros and cons of various types of schooling.

Homeschooling

  • Goddess Moon Circles Academy - An online Pagan private school that addresses your right to educate your child as you wish. The curriculum was developed by and for Pagan families and designed to either be used in a teacher/student partnership or for a more "independent study" approach. They also offer an umbrella/cover school option for Middle and Senior students that is perfect for Unschooling and overseas families!
  • A Journey in Homeschooling - This is an amazing series of articles written by Barbara Hedgewitch. She describes, season by season, her family's homeschooling life. Her beautiful, peaceful writings serve as an inspiration to other families who are considering a homeschooling lifestyle.

  • A-Z Homeschooling links - Ann Zeise created this very helpful site with many links for pagan homeschoolers. Browse around her site a little to find additional resources, such as articles on beginning to homeschool, field trip ideas, lessons, special needs homeschooling, and more.

  • You Have A Pagan Student In Your School: A Guide For Educators This printable guide can be sent to your child's school administration to advise them what Paganism is and how it might play out in the student's life at school. Written in 1998, it's a tiny bit dated, but keep in mind that you can always edit the article to fit your child's needs. Distributed by the Pagan Pride organization.
