Come and Knock on my door

This is the blessing I often place on my front door before a gathering. I know this is happening less often these days but still on the occasions that guests are coming over during clean up can’t help but say these words as I clean up space by the front door.

Let all those who enter here bring with them the best of themselves

Let all those who dwell inside be protected by the love shared within

Let those who mean harm steer clear and find love elsewhere

Let all those who exit leave in good cheer.
